Please read these terms and conditions carefully. In accepting services provided by Ryden's Mowing you accept the following terms and conditions.
Ryden's Mowing goal is total customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with our service please tell us, it is important you contact us that day so we can provide the appropriate resolution promptly. If you are satisfied please tell everyone.
If you have engaged with Ryden's Mowing to provide a regular service, numerous factors can affect our schedule, therefore we are not able to specify an exact time of your regular service.
Any quote or estimate is subject to revision if there are any changes to the nature or extent of the requested work. This may apply to both labour and materials. However, the quote will not be amended without consultation with the client.
We offer a wide range of Lawn Maintenance services such as hedging, weed removal, leaf or grass removal/bagging, clean up, gutter cleaning etc. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a quote on these services. We can offer these services as a one off or on a regular service program.
One off services: If you have booked a one off service, we require 3 days’ notice of cancellation or deposit will not be refunded and full service fee will apply.
Regular Service: If you require your service to be cancelled or your next scheduled service to be postponed we require 2 days’ notice. If less than 2 days’ notice is given, you would be charged your normal service fee.
When making booking, we require a 45% deposit to save the slot. You will need to provide your Full Name, Address, Mobile Number and your Email Address for us to send you the invoice for the required service. The partial payment need to be paid on the day of the said service.
All card payments are subject to 2% transaction fee. The relevant transaction fee is applied on top of the quoted amount for the service.
TRAVEL FEE: If your location is 30mins and more to view and give quote on the job, there will be $20 fee either you accept to go ahead with the job or not.
We accept cash on the day or online bank transfer or deposit into our bank account or square reader. Bank account details will be provided to you.
The client is obligated to make the remaining payment before we start the service.
Cash on Day Clients: If you are not home please ensure correct payment is left in the agreed location. (We are unable to provide change.) If payment is not left we will issue an invoice which is payable before the service, If this is a reoccurring issue we may not complete the service on that day, however you may still be charged for the service, in this case we will again issue an invoice which is payable within 2 days.
Invoice Clients: We will email an invoice the day you make a booking. Full payment is due the day of your service.
If a bank transfer payment has been agreed, this has to be completed no later than 24 hours prior to the Service’s time. We reserve the right to cancel an appointment if no payment has been received.
We reserve the right to cancel an appointment if the Service is not secured.
(a) A Customer may cancel a Booking by providing Ryden's Mowing with 3 days notice prior to the scheduled time for the Booking.
(b) The Fee (deposited) for a cancelled Booking will be fully refunded to the Customer and the Provider will not be entitled to the Provider Fee or any other payment in respect of such cancelled Booking.
(c) A cancellation made otherwise than in accordance with clause (a) will not be eligible for a refund.
We understand that inclement weather can make things difficult to stay on schedule – and therefore, we may have to work on said days. We will do our best to take care of you under all circumstances.
If a request is not received, and the work has already been completed or we cannot complete the work due to obstruction, we will need to charge a $30 service fee for time/labor. (We hope you understand that we still need to pay expenses to get there.)
The Client need not be present during service calls and hereby grants permission to Ryden's Mowing and shall facilitate entry to access the property on scheduled or otherwise agreed service days during the hours of 8am to 6pm.
GATE & PETS
If we have determined that it is too wet to allow proper mowing, then we will try to arrive on the next dry day to perform your regular service or next visit will be 4 weeks from the last service, as we run a very tight schedule and any changes will put our schedule out or behind.
We do work on public holidays BUT not all, please contact us.
If you are having a special event and require your service on a specific day or time or wish to add an additional service, please advise as early as possible to allow us to accommodate your needs.
We are professionals and take all due care to ensure that incidents do not occur, but accidents do happen and we carry full public liability insurance for your peace of mind. However, not all damage is automatically covered.
We are professionals and take all due care to ensure that incidents do not occur, however it is the property occupants responsibility to minimize the risk of such an incident.
We may not be automatically liable for damage from projectiles expelled from Ryden's Mowing while servicing your property; we always request you remove any items that may become a projectile from your property, and prior to our arrival so damage from projectiles cannot occur.
We understand accidents do happen and we will make sure each incident is investigated individually; if an accidental, breakage does occur then as stated above we carry full public liability insurance for your peace of mind. Be assured if damage occurs while we are on site, we will notify you immediately and discuss the incident and options for repair.
In rare cases breakages occur that we have not been aware of, if you discover a breakage, after we have serviced your property (e.g. broken car window) please call us immediately. Do not move or clean up anything, as we need to be able to investigate the incident without the area being interfered with. If a vehicle is moved from the location where damaged occurred, before we are given the opportunity to inspect the damage, we cannot be held liable to repair the damage or any costs incurred in repairing the damage.
CARE FOR LAWN
The Client shall be responsible for the day-to-day care of the lawn where such care is not detailed and/or specified on the Lawn Mowing Schedule.
